Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, The Digital Marketing Lead is responsible for developing and delivering email marketing solutions, analysing customer databases, and supporting the management of key digital channels to deliver business objectives, increase revenue generation and optimises our customers' digital experiences.
We are seeking a focussed, flexible and innovative team member with solid digital competency who is looking for the next step in their career. Applicants should have excellent interpersonal communication skills and proven ability to manage digital channels including email marketing (EDM), search, social media marketing, and marketing campaign performance analysis.

Key responsibilities include:
• Lead profitable email marketing activities across Auckland Live campaigns and communications.
• Manage the database and generate actionable insights for the business using a variety of analytics tools and techniques.
• Delivery of digital marketing campaigns to grow our database followers.
• Support paid search and social media campaigns from creation to on-going analysis and optimisation, with a strong focus on revenue generation and ROI.
• When needed support the scheduling of digital signage activities across Auckland Live’s venue screens.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need.
• A tertiary qualification in marketing or similar, and at least 3 years’ experience in tactical digital marketing roles.
• Proven ability and expertise using CMS, Salesforce and email marketing tools including automation.
• An understanding of email templates such as HTML+CSS and responsive design.
• Experience in using database and email marketing systems (e.g Archtics, MailChimp, Campaign Monitor, Active Campaign).
• Strong understanding of website optimisation, UX, A/B testing and SEO.
• Strong working knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and/or Google Data Studio.
• Great organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage several projects concurrently.
• Excellent attention to detail and communications skills.
• Resilience and the ability to work well under high pressure and to tight deadlines

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the occasional requirement to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
