LexisNexis New Zealand is looking for a Digital Learning & Training Consultant to join our Client Experience and Learning team to provide quality instruction to customers through digital and in-person formats.
About the Role:
The Digital Learning & Training Consultant will be responsible for delivering high quality training to our clients, including legal professionals, based on an understanding of their needs and workflow. You will be self-motivated and used to working autonomously and willing to learn about our new products and services as they are developed. You will be adept at building effective relationships with stakeholders including customers and internal teams and are always looking for ways to grow the impact and effectiveness of your training. You will have experience and interest in instructional design and developing digital resources that support effective learning.
This is a hybrid home/office full-time role to be based in Wellington or Auckland. Additional flexibility may be an option for the right applicant.
Responsibilities:

Planning learning activities to cover the customer base
Engaging directly with our customers and end-users to enhance their knowledge of our products and drive usage.
Delivering training activities each month through online and face-to-face training
Defining customer learning needs and planning and implementing effective training solutions
Working with SMEs in the business to develop and maintain a customer product training programme hosted on the LMS system
Building effective relationships with individual end-users and key stakeholders
Working with other LexisNexis stakeholders (e.g. sales teams, product teams, content lawyers, editorial, marketing, and finance) to ensure an integrated approach to customer success.
Bringing meaningful insights from the customer and the market into the business to help improve our product offerings and market knowledge.
Keeping up to date with changes in markets, customers, competitors and products and adapting training programs and delivery style to reflect product and market changes.
Ensuring timely completion of all required reporting in defined databases.

Requirements:

Hold a relevant qualification (in for example Instructional Design, Digital Learning, Education; Training; Law;) with experience in training delivery and customer relationship management.
Have experience in creating effective e-learning content and courses for delivery via a Learning Management System (LMS). Experience in specific tools (e.g. Captivate, Totara) would be useful although not essential.
Be a superior communicator and collaborator who can create an engaging learning environment (both in person and online).
Be able to identify opportunities while building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Be experienced in liaising with others at various organisational levels.
