The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Solicitor/Associate (depending on the applicant) to join the Digital Law team in the EY Law Auckland office. This role is offered on a flexible full-time basis.
Your key responsibilities
Advise a prestigious client base on a wide range of Digital Law matters including privacy, technology (cloud, AI, IoT, blockchain etc.), IP and consumer protection law issues.
Assist in research, analysis and the provision of high-quality advice to EY Law clients.
Help continue the growth trajectory of EY Law by building both strong internal relationships with EY and exceptional client relationships with new and existing clients.

Skills and attributes for success
Strong academic background with relevant experience in privacy, technology and/or intellectual property law.

Commercial and astute with a demonstrated ability to assimilate complex legal concepts into everyday business language.
Excellent communication, presentation and technical writing skills.
Proven client relationship skills with the ability to build and develop networks and opportunities.

Ideally, you’ll also haveA genuine passion for all things digital and tech and a desire to keep up with the related legal issues in this ever-changing area.
Motivated and enthusiastic individuals who thrive in a fast- paced environment.
