Job Description

As part of our commitment to developing and servicing our key clients across New Zealand, we are looking to bring on BIM and Revit specialists in with highly developed technical and solutions based approaches in Building services.

What you will do:
• Competently use Revit MEP and associated software packages
• Produce detailed 2-D structural documentation from 3-D BIM models suitable for all stages of the design process using company standard CAD/BIM systems, processes and procedures
• Organization of Building services drawings and documents and responsibility for the project maintenance of incoming and outgoing drawing register & management of online document systems
• Positive interaction with both senior and junior staff alike and within the client environment
• Pro actively maintain an understanding of the latest developments in BIM
• Ability and aptitude to produce BIM models and CAD drawings to a high standard
• Delivering quality documents to a high standard using company systems

Candidate Specification

Your experience will include:
• CAD (certificate/diploma) or tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical or Structural engineering
• Revit MEP experience on a range of buildings projects
• An understanding and application of project specific execution plans (BEP’s)
• Exposure to programming languages such as Dynamo/Python/Grasshopper etc. for model and documentation automation.
• Excellent AutoCAD skills with building services experience.
• Good multidisciplinary knowledge of their field
• Ability to positively assist other disciplines regarding integrated design and coordination.
• Detailed knowledge of New Zealand engineering design codes and practices
• Open to travelling and moving between offices as required or working remotely on projects
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
