Digital Designer

Description

Mobi2Go is a hospitality company based in Wellington, with offices in Australia and Canada, and clients worldwide. We help hospitality brands to take orders digitally with online and app ordering, and in store with table and kiosk ordering.
We’re looking for an experienced digital designer to join our product team, reporting to our Chief Product Officer.
The role covers two main areas:
Client facing

Most of our client facing design work is writing CSS and preparing imagery in Photoshop. You’ll be:
Taking existing client designs and integrating them into their existing websites
Creating demo websites for potential clients
Working with clients to set and manage expectations of deliverables
Creating flyers and other printed collateral to promote clients’ ordering.
Working within the Mobi2Go admin system to deliver high-quality outcomes
In all your client work, you’ll be adept at managing a busy workload and maintaining a flexible attitude.
Internal

In the internal aspects of the role you’ll support internal brand work, and you’ll also help the marketing team with their assets and communications. You’ll be:
Creating a brand style guide
Supporting our product design, especially with feedback from client-facing work
Creating marketing materials for digital and print campaigns including social media
Creating supporting imagery for EDMs and website
We’re a small team, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to stamp your creative mark, and identify opportunities for brand development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will ..
Have strong core graphic design skills
Have in-house or agency experience working with design guidelines
Create printed and digital marketing collateral
Have a strong grasp of CSS/LESS/SASS
Have experience working with Javascript
Have a good understanding of how browsers and the web work
Have experience debugging and testing browser issues and quirks

Tools used..Adobe creative cloud Photoshop Illustrator InDesign After Effects (a bonus)
Figma
VS Code or similar
