The Southland dietetic team is a close-knit dedicated team of professionals with the same interests as you – “putting the patient at the centre of everything that they do”.
We welcome applications from New Zealand Registered Dietitians with prescriber endorsement, and a current APC to join our dietetic team at Southland Hospital, Invercargill. With a focus on acute adult inpatient care this exciting and challenging role will capitalise on your passion for dietetics in the surgical, medical and rehabilitation focused care settings, and general outpatient dietitian led clinics.
This role would be a great opportunity for a New Graduate or early career practitioner to join our team of experienced Dietitians.
We offer supervision and mentoring and opportunities for ongoing professional development.The team works closely with dietitian colleagues in Dunedin and across the Southern district/ community.
You will have clear and open communication skills that allow you to foster positive relationships with patients, whanau and the wider MDT. We are looking for a highly motivated enthusiastic team player who is willing to take on new challenges and continue to raise the profile for dietetics.
If you are a self-motivated efficient and productive person with excellent time management skills and able to prioritise and manage a busy case load, and bring energy and enthusiasm, we would love to hear from you.
