Job Req: 28181About the role:We are seeking two junior/intermediate level full stack java developers, to be part of our initiative to increase our capability in the development of the Police core operational system.Working in an agile project team, you will be responsible for developing enhancements to the core Police system that provides mission critical functionality to the Police front-line and back-office staff. The application is a client-server architecture with a java back-end and Smalltalk and web front-ends. There is also integration with a large number of internal and external systems. In this role you will be expected to work across all components of the system.You will have high levels of motivation, be flexible and willing to learn and be passionate about the importance of providing high quality software solutions that support the front-line.Key Accountabilities:Partake in all aspects of development including design, coding and development of unit and integration tests
Work with product owners, developers, analysts and testers to ensure the solutions developed are fit for purpose and met the business requirements

Good knowledge and experience in Java development
Proficiency using web development technologies and techniques including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
Knowledge and/or experience of integration services
Good SQL experience
Experience in working on software development projects
Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
