Despatch - Customer Service Representative

About the role As a Despatch Customer Service Representative at CARTERS WHANGAREI you will have a key focus on providing the best service to our trade customers. This is a fast-paced physical role where your skills and experience driving a forklift, serving customers and ensuring deliveries go out on time will come in handy within our dry shed, panel, and timber yard areas. Identifying the right products quickly and efficiently for our customers.Picking, Assembling and loading customer orders.Coordinating day to day transportation requirements managing the loading and despatching of ordersLoading and unloading vans and delivery trucks.Monitoring yard stock and product display levels to ensure they are in accordance with safety regulations.Uphold the high safety standards of the site. About you You'll succeed in this role because you have the following skills, experience, and values: A team player with the right attitude.A real people person with a natural talent for building trust and rapport with our customers.Basic computer skillsPhysically fit - this role with on occasion require heavy lifting.Full NZ Drivers Licence is a MUST.Forklift licence (F endorsed and Osh Certificates are desirable).Previous experience working in a similar yard environment is preferable.Building industry knowledge is advantageous.Benefits to Building your Career with Carters Security and work-life balance.
