Aboutthe Role
Wehave a great opportunity for a talented and motivated Despatch Coordinator tojoin our friendly team at our new purpose-built state of art Head Office, based in East Tamaki. In this role you will manage dayto day requirement of the Operating Unit’s transport operations to make sureour operations run smoothly and meet our customer requirements.
Your key responsibilities willinclude:
Scheduling daily work for transport operators to ensure maximum efficiency and follow up to make sure all jobs are completed
Coordinating drivers to make sure all of our customers are serviced
Ensuring our team members are in compliance with transport regulations and operating procedures including monitoring and signing off on daily check sheets
Confirming route and scheduled visits.
To be successful in this role you needto have:
High attention to detail, strong verbal communication skills and a good understanding of operating procedures
MS office software (Word, Excel)
Experience in Customer Service in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate self-motivation, and strong time management
Leadership skills and relevant working knowledge of employee relations and occupational health and safety would be an advantage
We arelooking for a confident individual who can juggle multiple tasks and assist ourcustomers in a prompt and professional manner. You will be someone thatcan work independently and as part of a team, you can think on your feet whenthe pressure is on and are comfortable working with a varied work force.
Please note: This role will require you to work on a rotating shift,covering the hours between 4.30am – 6.00pm.
