Design Manager Design Manager Franklin Smith have been engaged to recruit a Design Manager for one of New Zealands leading tier one main contractors because of the unique nature of their projects they tend to be unaffected by market peaks and troughs Therefore this role would ideally suit someone looking for a long term stable opportunity With a high performing multicultural team with significant years of experience constructing some of New Zealand s most wellknown buildings this company is set to become one of New Zealand s true tier 1 contractor s over the next few years Due to controlled sustained growth they are currently recruiting for a Senior Design Manager to come on board with experience in the design management of commercial projects up to 75m Your responsibilities will include Reporting to the project design director and working as the sole design manager on a prestigious iconic mixeduse project in a prime Auckland location Leading the design management of both traditional and modern build methods Participating as part of the senior design management team on a number of bids in the Auckland area where you would be given the opportunity to see awarded projects through the entire life cycle Managing the projects that vary from bespoke highend developments where the company has financial interest to student accommodation high rise and other major schemes Your experience knowledge and skills need to include At least 10 years experience in residential commercial and mixeduse design management in New Zealand or Australia Experience in high rise would be an advantage Experience within a main contractor environment Experience in taking handling projects from planning through to delivery Solid tendering capabilities A client facing highly motivated and committed to delivering quality For further information or to register your interest contact James Gillanders at Franklin Smith Construction on 021 839 801 or email your CV to james franklinsmithgroup co nz All correspondence is confidential www franklinsmithgroup co nz
