We are looking for an engaging, motivated d eputy principal of our s enior school (Y4-8) who is passionate about inspiring the best from our tamariki. We will be establishing a new leadership team to continue to buil d on the strong position of the kura within the heart of our community. We seek a deputy principal who: Will support our principal to ensure that our school continues to be a safe and welcoming place with a focus on wellbeing for all staff and students Has outstanding communication, relationship management and leadership skills so that our school is a positive and exciting environment for students and staff Has a commitment to professional growth with a focus on working collaboratively with others to lead the development and implementation of the NZ Curriculum – Te Mataiaho Has strong, research and evidenced-based pedagogical practice and knowledge Has a depth of understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and commitment to enhancing and extending our culturally responsive practices and innovative programmes in te ao maori and te reo Maori Has the ability to support and develop programmes to meet the diverse needs of our learners.
