Our usual clinic hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.About the Team/Service/LocationWe are a vibrant team of dental assistants supporting our Dental and Oral Health therapists caring for eligible Tamariki/children aged 0 to Year 8 school years.
We work in modern facilities and are focused on providing high standards of general oral health care to our patients/clients.For more information on living and working in Blenheim, click here.About YouAs a Dental Assistant, you will have:Previous dental and administrative experience; comprehensive training can be provided to the preferred applicant.A good standard of oral and written communication (minimum of Year 11 NCEA English and Maths or equivalent).
If not previously attained, you will be prepared to undertake the NZQA Level 3: New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Dental Assistance), which must be completed within 2 years of starting in the role.A valid driver's license.You will enjoy working in a supportive team, demonstrating enthusiasm and the ability to follow instructions and learn new skills.Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
