With over 130 practices nationwide, we are the heart of every New Zealand community and want to ensure we are providing the highest standard of care to our patients & ongoing support to our clinicians.Job DescriptionLumino Mount Eden is looking for a reliable 4 day a week dental assistant to join our close-knit team!As a Dental Assistant, you will support a highly experienced team of clinicians.
You will be assisting them with diverse and interesting dental procedures during appointments.
You will also take responsibility for instrument sterilisation, infection control, and stock control.
Not only will you be assisting with general dentistry, you will also get the chance to assist in orthodontics.
You will be required to help out at reception from time to time, so being a people person with flexibility is essential.The hours for the role are:Week 1Monday 8am - 5:30pmTuesday 8am - 5:30pmThursday 8am - 5:30pmFriday 8am - 1:30pm (sometimes in Ponsonby)Week 2Monday 8am - 5:30pmThursday 8am - 5:30pmFriday 8am - 1:30pm (sometimes in Ponsonby)Our ideal candidate would have flexibility to work at our other location at Lumino Ponsonby with the dentist.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Previous experience as dental assistantIdeally, sterilisation and/or customer-facing experience.Warm and positive attitude and team-orientated approach.Strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.Computer savvy skills with the ability to pick up things quickly.Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills.Additional InformationA large company that offers internal mobilityLong service benefitsDiscounted Southern Cross health insurance.Discounts at a range of retailers through Boost BenefitsThe LocationOur practice is one of the largest and busiest in the Lumino family, boasting a dedicated team of 4 dentists and 4 hygienists/therapists.
