We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team at Pukekohe Dental LTD in Pukekohe, Auckland. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care in a full-time position.What you'll be doingAssisting dentists during dental procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and maintaining a clean and organised work areaSterilising and preparing instruments and equipment for dental proceduresWelcoming and greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing patient recordsProviding patient education on oral hygiene and answering any questions they may haveMaintaining strict infection control protocols and ensuring a safe and clean clinical environmentSupporting the dental team in various administrative tasks as requiredWhat we're looking forPrevious experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar healthcare roleStrong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and the dental teamExcellent attention to detail and the ability to work with a high level of accuracyProficient in using dental equipment and softwareA compassionate and patient-focused approach to providing careA team player with the ability to work collaborativelyEnthusiasm for continuous learning and professional developmentWhat we offerAt Pukekohe Dental LTD, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
