We aim to delight guests through exceptional service and memorable experiences.The Demi Chef de Partie prepares and cooks food in all kitchen areas according to standard procedures, recipes, photographs, and instructions.
This role supports the Chef de Partie in training team members and participates in product development and kitchen operations.What will I be doing?As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will:Prepare food efficiently, economically, and hygienically following recipes and procedures.Supervise work operations.Support the Sous Chef or Chef de Partie to ensure smooth kitchen operation and prompt service.Plan and prepare high-quality food and beverage offerings.Follow recipes, standards, and plating guides.Maintain cleanliness and hygiene per safety standards and FSMS protocols.Maintain HACCP standards within hotel operations.Use equipment and tools appropriately.Assist with off-site events and tasks outside the kitchen as needed.Participate in inventory management.Coordinate with the stewarding department for cleanliness and safety.Respond effectively to guest requests.Adapt to changes and maintain professionalism and positivity.Follow hotel rules and team policies.Monitor ingredient quality, portion control, and cost efficiency.Ensure food quality and timely preparation.Promote teamwork and support departmental standards.Perform other duties as assigned.What are we looking for?Ideal candidates will:Have at least a junior middle school education or higher.Possess a minimum of 3 years' experience as a cook in Chinese, Banquet, Main, or Pastry kitchens within a 5-star hotel or high-standard restaurant.Have at least 1 year as a Commis I in an international hotel or restaurant.Hold a valid health certificate.Be skilled in steaming, baking, and soup techniques (especially for Chinese/Banquet kitchens).Be experienced with seafood and meat processing techniques.Be familiar with food storage, processing, and receiving standards.Possess pastry and bread baking skills (for Pastry Kitchen).Be capable of working with all ingredients and setting priorities.Remain calm under pressure and solve problems efficiently.Work well in hot, humid, and noisy environments.Have good leadership and training abilities.Stay up-to-date with sanitation standards and HACCP knowledge.Possess technical education in hospitality or culinary arts is preferred.What will it be like to work for Hilton?Hilton is a leading global hospitality company offering luxurious hotels, resorts, extended-stay suites, and mid-priced hotels.
