Our Christchurch branch is looking for dedicated, hardworking Class 2 Delivery Driver to join their Produce team urgently.
As a Delivery Driver at Service Foods, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in pristine condition.
The job: Immediate start Days of work: Monday to Saturday Hours: 2:30 or 03.30 am start and finish in 8-10 hours (depending on the run).
Our Location: Cumnor Terrace, Woolston, Christchurch The offer: Full-time employment with regular hours Opportunities for growth within the company On-the-job training and support Access to company staff purchase scheme The role: You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of fresh produce products to various locations in and around the Christchurch region, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the integrity of our business.
Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans and trucks) to transport goods Load and unload products, ensuring they are securely and safely transported Deliver goods according to customer orders in a timely manner Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation Provide outstanding customer service by interacting professionally with clients Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient delivery Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly Assist with other warehouse duties when not on delivery runs Fill vehicles with fuel and report on any maintenance requirement Perform daily checks – oils, coolant, WOF etc.
Wash and clean trucks or other vehicles when required Help team in picking/dispatching if needed The candidate: A full Class 2 drivers licence , must be able to drive manual Have clear communication and customer service skills Knowledge of central and wider Christchurch region Reasonably good literacy and numeracy skills Be confident, reliable, flexible and have attention to detail Clean driving and criminal records Have prior NZ experience and knowledge of basic food ingredients Be physically strong and fit; should be able to lift up to 25 kg Possess good organizational and time management skills Be a team player with a positive attitude Have reliable transport for commute Why Join Us?
