Thank you for your interest in this position.We have received your application from Indeed, so the first step of your application is complete.To finish your application we will email you further details.With a commitment to excellence, we take pride in delivering fresh and sustainable products to our valued customers.Our Napier branch is looking for an experienced, reliable Class 2 Delivery Driver to join the team immediately.As a Delivery Driver at Service Foods, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in pristine condition.The role:Permanent, full-timeDays: Monday to SaturdayHours: 06.30 am to 03.00 pmLocation: Turner Place, NapierImmediate startThe offer:Full-time employment with regular hoursOpportunities for growth within the companyOn-the-job training and supportAccess to company staff purchase schemeThe job:You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of food products to various locations in and around Hawkes Bay region, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the integrity of our business.Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans and trucks) to transport goodsLoad and unload products, ensuring they are securely and safely transported.Deliver goods according to customer orders in a timely mannerMaintain accurate delivery logs and documentationProvide outstanding customer service by interacting professionally with clientsAdhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient deliveryReport any vehicle maintenance issues promptlyAssist with other warehouse duties when not on delivery runsFill vehicles with fuel and report on any maintenance requirementPerform daily checks – oils, coolant, WOF etc.Wash and clean trucks or other vehicles when requiredHelp warehouse team if neededThe candidate:You will have the following skills and attributes:A full Class 2 drivers license, must be able to drive manualClear communication and customer service skillsKnowledge of Hawke's Bay and its surrounding areas is a plusReasonably good literacy and numeracy skillsConfidence, reliability, flexibility and attention to detailClean driving and criminal recordsPrior NZ experience and knowledge of basic food ingredientsPhysically strong and fit; should be able to lift up to 20 kgsGood organizational and time management skillsTeam player with a positive attitudeReliable transport for commuteWhy Join Us?At Service Foods, we are committed to fostering a culture of innovation, teamwork and continuous improvement.
