The hours and days for this Deli Manager position are Monday 0630 - 1600, Tuesday 0630 - 1600, Wednesday 0630 - 1600, Thursday 0630 - 1600 and Sunday 0630 - 1600.
From meats & cheeses to antipasto you will be joining a hands on and customer focused department. A day in the life of a Deli Manager could look like:
Meeting daily and weekly targets, ordering, stock taking and rostering

Implementing promotion planning with great detail and in a timely manner

Training and developing Deli team members

Championing Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety practices to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors

As well as a passion for people and fresh food we are looking for our new leader to have:
A demonstrated knowledge and passion for fresh food

Strong and clear communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members

Strong leadership skills to train and develop your team to ensure food safety is always top priority

Excellent prioritization skills which will enable you to manage your workload

The ability to obtain a Food Safety Certificate
