Put your skills to work in new and innovative ways, powered by the latest technology.Due to significant growth, we are now seeking a talented Senior Associate to join our Wellington-based, Deals - Corporate Finance team.This is a full-time, permanent role with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday.Who Are We?Ranked #1 in New Zealand by number of transactions completed for every year since 2005,our Corporate Finance team is the largest in the country, with a proven track record across a diverse range of sectors.We are known for our vibrant culture, innovation, and vast opportunities offering visionary expertise to a wide range of clients, frommedium sized businesses through to high profile corporate clients and public sector entities.Nga Korero mo tenei turanga / About the roleAs part of our senior Corporate Finance team, you will:Lead and manage M&A processes and execute transactions, delivering high-quality valuation, strategic, and financial advisory solutions.Take charge of engagements to build or review financial models.Manage and nurture client relationships.Mentor and develop junior staff.Play a strategic role in achieving our team's growth objectives.Enhance your knowledge through research, training, and collaboration with internal PwC specialists.Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in corporate finance, commercial, or financial markets.Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Commerce in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics/Statistics, Law, Engineering).CFA designation and/or progress towards this qualification is desirable but not essential.Strong financial statement analysis skills and experience in producing high-quality reports using MS Excel.Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Team-oriented mindset with mentoring experience.Nga ahuatanga hirahira o te mahi ki PwC / Highlights of working at PwC NZUnrivalled level of access to industry expertise, both locally and through our wider global network of member firms, where you'll be enabled by cutting-edge technology.We know working flexibly is important, which is why we offer a cash contribution to enable you to set up your home work space.Investing in your mental health is both important and personal.
