Data Nurse (Registered Nurse) Te Puna Wai Ora / ICU Salary Band $73,000 - $103,000 p.a prorata + Kiwisaver 0.5 FTE / 40 hours per fortnight Fixed term until July 2024 Competitive salary + retail and insurance discounts The ICU Data nurse will play a pivotal role in Te puna wai ora / Southern Critical Care current and future service needs and intensive care clinical practice. Mo te turanga About the role The functions of the role are in accordance with the College of Intensive Care Medicine minimum standards for Tertiary level III Intensive Care Units operational requirements. Collect & submit data to both the Intensive Care Departments' clinical databases, Manage the delivery of data to meet deadline for submission, ensuring that all data is collected, and correctly entered, Responsible for the Intensive Care Departments' Central Line Associated Bacteraemia (CLAB) Database and the Department Quality CLAB Programme and Quality Safety Indicator for CLAB, Extract information for assisting with service requirements, investigation, analysis, and documentation of data, Present information to ensure business / user requirements are delivered within the Department, Educate and train clinical staff in the Intensive Care Department on administration, data collection, documentation processes and data requirements for ANZICS databases, Assist research team in data entry into the numerous databases for collection of clinical data for study participants.
