Experience in Java Development Porirua ASAP Our client has an ongoing programme of work to deliver mission critical applications to the front line. There is a large project team that is broken up into several smaller agile teams working on particular aspects of the programme.We are looking for one java developer with experience working in agile team. fit best.The types of development we are working on includes:Java development of back-end server modules.
Web application development using Angular or Wicket frameworks.
Enablement of new technologies including IBM Cloud Private/OpenShift, Kafka.
Development of microservices.
Tasks included in this assignment:All aspects of development including development of unit and integration tests.
Expected deliverable / performance standards from this assignment.
High standard of code quality.
Continuous focus on the product quality result.
Personal capabilities required for this assignment are:Pre-requisite Skills:At least 3 ? 5 years? experience in developing enterprise java-based applications.
Experience in working in an agile team in a large organisation.
Formal qualifications in development desirable but not essential.
Strong Java skills and experience are a must have.
Angular.
Wicket.
HTML5, CSS skills, JavaScript.
Microservices.
Kubernetes.
Technical Skills.We also need the candidates to have good/strong experience in some of the following:People Skills.
Excellent communicator who willingly participates and contributes to discussions.
Excellent Team player ? works well in a team and willing to tackle all tasks.
Flexible, independent, and self-motivated.
Good time management skill.
