Dairy Farm Assistants

We are running a 700 cow farm in the Putaruru district and require motivated and enthusiastic people to join our team to assist with all daily duties on a rolling 228 Ha farm milking in a 36 aside herringbone shed. We require the applicants to have a least had a minimum of 6 months experience and be capable of riding a 2 wheeler motorbike and can cup cows. They are required to be quiet and patient with stock and be willing to learn and ask questions, we also require a clean Police history, zero tolerance to drug or alcohol issues in this job and no health issues that would affect your ability to perform your daily tasks. The successful applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand and have a current work visa and must currently also be in New Zealand to attend an interview. The farm is a very tidy and well run rolling farm located 14 km from Putaruru with a 36 aside herringbone milking system with LIC Protrac system, has great facilities and good machinery and good quality housing. The farm is run to a high standard with all cows wintered on farm and so requires the applicants to maintain a good standard of work. Accommodation is available.
