Dairy Farm Assistant - Thompsons Dairy

We are looking for a motivated Farm Assistant to join our team on Thompsons Dairy. Centrally located 15 minutes from Reefton and 45 minutes from Greymouth. This 307 effective ha property peak milks 680 cows through a 54 bail rotary with ACR’s and MilkHub. The successful candidate will be responsible for general farming duties, which include milking, fencing and stock work.

What you will bring:

· NZ dairy farming experience
· First class attitude to Health and Safety and Animal Welfare
· Be self-motivated and show passion for dairy farming
· Some computer skills and a willingness to learn
· A good eye for detail and effective communication skills
· Current NZ driver’s licence
