In this role, you'll assist with a range of farm tasks — from milking, calving, and feeding stock, to effluent management, spraying, and fencing.You'll play an important part in the day-to-day operations and work closely with your team to help meet production and animal welfare goals.You'll receive full training and support, and we'll encourage you to take the initiative, develop your skills, and support newer team members along the way.

1450 cows are milked once a day through a 60-bail rotary shed that has a vast array of technology to help monitor & measure overall performance.
The farm is set on 640 ha of varying terrain.About YouYou'll bring a willingness to learn, get stuck in, and contribute to the team's success.
Ideally, you'll also have:Experience in a similar dairy farming role (or a strong interest in developing one)Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamA proactive attitude with initiative and commitment to animal welfare and health & safetyThe ability to coach and support junior or new staff where requiredA current NZ restricted or full driver's licenceBenefitsWe offer a competitive salary package, including health and life insurance, enhanced parental leave benefits, and up to 4% KiwiSaver matching.
