The Role
The purpose and unique contribution of your role is to analyse proposed Security capability uplift solutions, implement best practice Testing governance, solve complex problems and to provide test leadership to assure the quality of the solutions being built.
The purpose of this role fits neatly with our Group purpose. We exist to protect, detect, and respond to both Cyber and physical security threats to our people, information, and assets.
What you'll be doing:
Creation of test plans that take a risk-based approach to testing in conjunction with stakeholders
Converting requirements to comprehensive test case/s
Development life cycle and testing phases such as Unit Test, System Integration Test, UAT
Executing and driving the resolution of defect fixes
Coordination of Non-Functional Testing, User Acceptance Testing or Testing across different technical teams
Oversight and governance of Testing processes where external teams have completed test activities
Collaborating with the rest of the Cyber project team to ensure project test requirements are understood, planned in advance and sufficiently communicated
Communicating test plans to the broader project team and stakeholders impacted
The successful candidate will have:
5+ years of demonstrated experience managing infrastructural software testing function
Demonstrable track record of review and rectification of challenges in the testing capability of a complex organisation
Demonstrated ability to put in place formal plans and documents for the testing function with milestones and measurable outcomes
Demonstrable track record of managing complex relationships across multiple stakeholders to deliver coherence and clarity in the testing schedule
Experience in an Agile & sprint planning
Experience with JIRA is essential
Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management
Industry relevant experience in Cyber Security, Infrastructure & Technology within insurance/financial services
