These are exciting times ahead in the Vector world of cyber security! Here’s an opportunity for you to utilise & enhance your skills in cyber security, gain some incredible exposure and take your career to the next level! Be part of a dynamic team, responsible for transforming security; ensuring security systems are deployed, maintained & innovated within a fast-paced critical infrastructure environment. Work with the security operations centre (SOC) & our key stakeholders to identify, investigate & resolve security incidents. You’ll be remediating vulnerabilities & exposures discovered during any security tests. Assisting with change governance processes, regular security reviews, risk assessments & collaborating with various teams to correct any exposures. This role will be busy, varied and pivotal to Vector during incident response! You’ll be driven to take ownership of problems & solve them. Partnering with major security vendors, you’ll be engaging with other Vector teams to ensure that good security practice exists within the organisation.Who are we looking for
This role requires a technical & hands-on individual. You’ve got a working knowledge in Akamai, Check Point & AWS. You’re experienced with firewalls (functionality & maintenance), Web & Email Security, Endpoint Security & SIEM & proficient in Python, C++, Java, Ruby, and/or Power Shell. This is an opportunity for you to grow your skills in building and maintaining operational partnerships with both internal & external stakeholders.What we can offer you
