Our Customer Support team are an exceptional group of people that are driven by making life better for Kiwis, including their customers and colleagues around them. At Trade Me we live the value of 'Customer Aroha' daily and strive to keep our customers at the heart of everything we do. We work hard, but are relaxed about it - we like to call this 'casual excellence'. We're currently on the hunt for a Team Leader who can inspire and lead from our frontline!

Flexibility with hours is important for this role as we will need you to be available Monday - Friday, 1.30pm - 10.00 pm but we could be flexible for the right candidate.

So far so good? What we're looking for from you is:

At least a couple of years of hands-on day to day leadership experience, ideally in a similar digital environment
A passion for identifying training opportunities for your team members and investing in their development.
Coolness when multitasking under pressure.
An empathetic nature - we want you to demonstrate this in your work and to our customers.
Strong Initiative with the ability to solve problems and self manage through your proactive approach
Excellent communication skills - you will understand the big picture and ensure each member of your understands how their work contributes to Trade Me's success.
