Customer Service Representative

Join our small, close-knit PGG Wrightson Te Kauwhata team as a Customer Service Representative.
We are looking for a switched-on team player who is committed to great customer service, has a keen interest in the agricultural sector, and is looking to build a career in this exciting industry.
This role suits an all-rounder who enjoys a variety of tasks.
You should be competent at administration work and also willing to operate a forklift.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with potential rostered Saturday mornings, based at the Te Kauwhata Rural Supplies store.
About the role:
Based in-store, you will provide knowledgeable sales advice and service to a range of agricultural and horticultural clients.
You will be involved in daily store operations such as stock management, displays, sales processing, and deliveries.
A passion for the local agricultural industry and excellent communication skills are essential.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide sound advice to customers based on their needs.
Proactively resolve queries and problems from customers, suppliers, and staff.
Process sales and product requests efficiently.
Order, unpack, and display merchandise according to company guidelines.
Operate forklift, Ute, and trailer for deliveries.
Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in the New Zealand rural sector is essential.
A full, current, and clean New Zealand driver license, along with a forklift license and F endorsement.
Experience driving and backing trailers is highly desired.
A team player who can contribute to outstanding results.
Good physical fitness, as heavy lifting is required.
Previous retail and/or sales experience is advantageous but not essential.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook is essential.
