Customer Service Officer

The Company:

This company is one of the largest shipping companies in the world. Their fleet includes dry cargo ships, liquefied natural gas carriers, Ro-Ro Car Carrier ships, tankers, container ships, and container terminals

The Role

This role will be responsible for:

Local and offshore freight production and deliveries
Calculate shipping costs for suppliers
Management of goods claims, repairs and returns
Management of customs, duty and refunds from freight forwarders
Investigate and manage outstanding accounts and queries
Shipping coordination

The Candidate
The ideal individual will possess the following:

Previous work experience in import / export / international shipping / supply chain;
Excellent export and logistics knowledge
High attention to detail, accuracy and efficient excel skills
Proven customer service experience and a strong customer focus
Excellent communication and presentation skills ideally demonstrating experience with international cultural and personality diversity
Able to work under pressure
Strong time management, organisational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritise work load
Previous experience with ERP systems and salesforce preferred
