Customer Service Manager - New World Wanaka

We have a brilliant team here and we are proud of the many compliments and amount of positive feedback from customers on how happy our team are and how wonderful the store is with our friendly team.What we are looking for: a great leader who enjoys a fast-paced environment and working alongside a great team.Key responsibilities:Plan, lead and ensure operational excellence for our Checkout Department.Ensure standards and daily tasks are achieved with an eye for detail, noticing the little things that most people don't while working in a timely manner.Effectively plan, monitor and prioritise tasks throughout the day.Identify and deter suspicious behaviour with a focus on loss prevention, ensuring a safe and secure store environment for staff and customers.Develop the needs of team members including robust training, creating development from within the team.Maintain and audit service standards.Be responsible for the sale of liquor and tobacco.Maintain our Health & Safety and Food Safety Standards.Effectively resolve all customer-related enquiries and complaints when able to and escalate issues to management when required.Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and best practice guidelines.The successful applicants will have:A minimum of two years' management experience in a supermarket or hospitality environment.A minimum of five years' customer service experience in a supermarket or hospitality environment.A minimum of one year's experience with Milestone, Auror and Gatha.High level of computer skills.What's in it for you:We're in it together; we look after each other, back one another, communicate effectively, and work together as one winning team, every time.Prove yourself in our store and within New World which is known for its people development and career opportunities.Development through on-the-job training and through Foodstuffs.Work with the latest technology, equipment and processes.A store discount at New World Wanaka!Be part of a 100% locally owned and operated store with remuneration above market rates.Apply early - we will be interviewing as suitable applicants are received and the job may close earlier if the position is filled.About New World & Foodstuffs:You know New World, PAK'nSAVE and Four Square right?

You will need to be available over weekends.We are an Immigration Accredited employer.
