The Customer Manager is responsible for promoting and developing our Baby Care portfolio within Foodstuffs North Island (FSNI).
Reporting to the National Business Manager for Foodstuffs, this position is full time and based in our Head Office in Newmarket, Auckland.
The successful Customer Manager will have the ability to plan, analyse, negotiate, control and manage the Baby Care portfolio to ensure that a great balance between sales and profitability is achieved.
The individual will be responsible for maintaining trade spend and category guidelines within the nominated categories as well as support and provide coaching to our KCNZ field team to ensure that promotional plans are maximised and brought to life at store level.
Responsibilities: * Plan and implement an effective, accurately costed promotional programme through FSNI for the nominated categories, using Promax software and other promotional planning tools * Accurately forecast and monitor the required levels of stock to support the promotional programme in place for the Baby Care portfolio * Monitor and manage trade investment levels to achieve portfolio sales and profitability targets * Develop strong and effective cross functional relationships with relevant contacts at FSNI and KC and drive the Go To Market Plan (GTM) for the Baby Care portfolio.
* Assist in the development of a strategic business plan for FSNI * Time spent in field to ensure a strong understanding of store needs and retail dynamics, and to provide KCNZ Territory Managers with the support and coaching required to activate the promotional plan * Ensure that, through personal example, and ongoing training and coaching, all company safety and asset protection policies are understood and followed and that a safe work environment is provided for all KCNZ team members Skills & Experience: * FMCG experience in a customer management role (Account or Customer Manager/Key Account Manager * Territory Management experience would be considered an advantage * Great planning and organising skills * Knowledge of Dunnhumby Shop and Aztec IRI * Naturally inquisitive with a strong analytical capability * Strong influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to adapt personal style to suit a variety of interpersonal styles What's on offer: Our Kimberly-Clark employees receive a competitive salary and incentives as well as access to a fantastic range of benefits including superannuation, career development opportunities, free health & well-being activities, volunteering leave and much more.
