ROLE PURPOSE
Drive campaigns and initiatives to help onboard, engage and retain customers throughout the customer lifecycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Owns the customer lifecycle, championing, encouraging and motivating customer behaviour to drive outcomes
- Drive campaigns and initiatives to help onboard, engage and retain customers throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Understand our customers—work with the data and insight manager to create clear profiles and segments of our customers.
- Works across Sharesies to understand adoption barriers then develop campaigns to remove those barriers.
- Drives continuous improvement, ‘time to value’ and excellent customer experience.
- Understands customer objectives and how they translate to outcomes.
- Reporting on key metrics and results from campaigns and initiatives.
- Collaborating with design and marketing teams to deliver campaigns.
- Pitching in as needed
REPORTS TO: Marketing Manager
DIRECT REPORTS: None
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
INTERNAL: Marketing team, customer care team, product manager, Legal team, wider Sharesies team

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're looking for a Customer Lifecycle Manager to join our team. They’ll be responsible for driving customer outcomes using customer insights. You should love delving into customer behaviour and be able to evaluate the commercial impact of a strategy, campaign or idea.
This role plays an important part in driving revenue through customer growth and engagement with the product.
We're looking specifically for people who feel pride in their work and pride in the impact that they're making.
A BIT ABOUT YOU
You're an experienced lifecycle marketer who knows how to have a big impact.
You're creative, thoughtful and know how to build strategies that get results. You obsess about conversion metrics and experimentation and understand how to drive efficient and sustainable growth—today and in the future. You’ll have a strong grasp of analytics tools and use data to inform your decision-making. Marketing automation and CRM experience is also a plus.
You're excited by a challenge and know how to manage initiatives from idea to execution. You get stuck in and get stuff done.
You’re a great teammate who will be working closely with our whole team—we all sit pretty close.
You are based in Wellington, or you are keen to be.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You’ll be an integral member of the marketing team, championing, encouraging, and motivating our customers to be the investors they want to be.
You’ll work closely with our data engineers to create customer segments, identify and prioritise opportunities which will engage, motivate and encourage customers.
You’ll report to the wider business on opportunities, metrics and areas of improvement, then work to implement your ideas and campaigns.
