Customer Experience Designer

Christchurch, CanterburyContractThe role Our electricity network spans between the Waimakariri and Rakaia rivers and stretches from Banks Peninsula to the alps at Arthur’s Pass. Building, maintaining and operating this network in a safe and reliable way is vital to ensure our community receives a safe and resilient supply of energy into the future.
Here’s an opportunity to sink your teeth into a piece of work that will be critical to building our stakeholder strategy moving forward. This is a contract role until 20 December 2019, reporting to the GM Customer and Stakeholder. In this role you will work across the business, our partners and community to help us map our customer journeys today and create a plan to build trust with our customers through seamless high quality experiences.
About you
You get people and you know how to work with them to achieve excellent outcomes. You’re a skilled veteran in customer experience work (customer proposition, CX, service design) with at least five years experience in the field across any industry. You have a knack for seeing different perspectives but the ability to consolidate feedback and data, distilling it to useful, actionable insights. Importantly, in this contract role you will be able to quickly form a plan around the outcomes we are looking for and get in amongst it, ensuring we achieve meaningful CX design to feed into our customer strategy.
