Customer Care Officer

We are seeking a part-time Customer Care Officer to join our team at Ryder System in Dunedin, Otago, NZ. As an Associate Level role, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in customer service and a strong understanding of the transportation industry. Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and social media in a timely and professional manner- Resolve customer issues and provide solutions to ensure customer satisfaction- Coordinate with other departments to address customer concerns and provide follow-up as needed- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions- Identify customer trends and suggest improvements to enhance the overall customer experience- Assist in the development of customer care policies and procedures Requirements:- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset- Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult customers with empathy and professionalism- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to find creative solutions- Resilient attitude and the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment- Energetic personality with a positive attitude- Familiarity with transportation industry practices and terminology preferred Benefits:- Retirement plan- Disability insurance- Paid overtime Working Environment:At Ryder System, we embrace diversity and create an inclusive culture that values and respects all perspectives.
