Details of the offer

•1 FTE •40 hours per week •Monday to Friday on a 2 year fixed term.
We are looking for an interpreter to work closely with WDHB clinical teams, primary focus is to provide interpreting service for Mandarin and Cantonese speaking clients to ensure they have access to the appropriate quality services.
• The successful candidate would have these:
• Certificate or diploma in Liaison Interpreting
(or NAATI 2 or 3 with Certificate in Health Terminology)
• Bilingual skills (fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese)
• Good coordination skills
• Good customer service skills
• Interpersonal skills
• More than 2 years' work experience in NZ
• Work experience in health interpreting
• Computer skills - MS outlook, word and excel
• Accurate data entry skills
• Flexible and proactive attitude
• Be able to work well as part of a team
• Good knowledge of NZ health system and information would be an advantage
