The Role:What This Opportunity's All About
This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Nurse alongside multidisciplinary team colleagues in a dynamic Crisis Resolution team, which is part of the supportive and professional North Acute Community Psychiatric Service. Crisis Resolution offers a 24 hours a day service responding rapidly to clients in crisis, assessing their needs and supporting them through to resolution of the crisis.
As a professional and highly motivated Nurse, you must enjoy the challenges of crisis work, including assessment, treatment and building relationships with consumers and their families/whanau. The ability to work in an integrated manner with our inpatient team and to develop sound working relationships with community resources and services is necessary.
Current Registration with the NZNC and APC, that includes a scope of practice for Mental Health
This role is 0.94 FTE, working on a rotating roster four days on, two days off
