A bit about the role
This is a 3-month contract role which will be reporting directly to the GM of Finance and will be responsible for two key areas in finance and credit;
Some of your responsibilities will include;
- Performing commercial financial / credit reviews on lease deals and facilities
- Approve (as part of the committee) lease deals and facilities
- Working with the Sales Managers on leasing opportunities
- Leading the credit control team
- Developing Credit strategies
- Process Improvement
- Monthly KPI reporting
- Working with and assisting the wider Finance team with monthly reporting, analysis and other work
- Finance projects
So who are you and what is your profile?
You are someone who is financially and commercially astute and be able to deal with a wide range of people building rapport quickly and earn respect for the quality and level of understanding you portray. You will be a strong leader who can lead a team of 5 credit staff to success.
You are someone who will actively seek to review and improve systems and processes and always looking or ways to do things better.
Ideally, you'll come from a financial services or banking background with good exposure to credit and lending.
You will have a strong work ethic and believe in honesty, hard work and building value for customers.
