The Flooring Centre is a leading independent flooring retailer, with a focus on quality flooring products and exceptional customer service.
We are an established business with offices in Christchurch and Auckland, and looking for a Credit Controller / Administrator to join our awesome team.
This role will become your own as you build relationships throughout our business, with sub-contractors and clients to get the best results from every interaction.
Your ability to think on your feet, problem solve and find the best solutions to manage daily tasks is what will allow you to thrive in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Credit control and debt collection
Covering all aspects of debtor insurance
Processing account applications
Daily receipting and customer account reconciliations
Emailing statements at month end
Managing and monitoring credit limits
Monthly reporting on overdues
Processing sub-contractors invoices
To be successful in this role you will
Be experienced in credit control as well as general office administration
Have good organisational, communication and problem solving skills
Be able to prioritise and meet deadlines
Possess a high level of computer literacy, including Excel and Word
Be conscientious with the ability to use your own initiative
