Crane Service Technician

. You will be required to carry out repairs, service and maintenance on a variety of all-terrain, rough terrain and crawler cranes. The successful applicant will be a fully trade qualified, self-motivated and energetic individual. You will have an established high standard of excellence and display an attitude that will complement the company's commitment to customer service which will be reflected in your presentation and workmanship.
About the Job:
Major Inspections, repairs & maintenance on various makes and models of cranes. Assembly of cranes to sales specification Committed to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace Completing relevant certificates and reports Basic to intermediate computer skills
About YOU:
Certificate 3 as a plant mechanic or equivalent Experience in the mobile crane industry Sound electrical, mechanical & hydraulic system knowledge with a demonstrated competency in reading schematic drawings (electrical & hydraulic) Ability to work unsupervised in a time critical environment Demonstrated competency in the safe and correct use of all workshop equipment used to carry out maintenance on vehicles and plant equipment Knowledge of servicing/ fault finding on mobile cranes and lifting equipment Comprehensive tool kit Crane, Truck & Forklift licence advantageous Able to travel to customer sites and remote locations Valid (current) Drivers Licence, White Card, CO crane & Rigging/Dogging ticket (desirable)
