Crane Operator / Stevedore

We are looking for staff to join our local port logistics team and require motivated, safety conscious people who are experienced in the operation of cranes. Our preference would be for operators who have experience loading log vessels, who are reliable, keen to learn and develop in a career as a Ship's Crane Operator/Stevedore.
If successful you will be employed with a primary function operating heavy machinery, such as Ship's Cranes as well as having the opportunity to perform other general duties. On offer is permanent work with guaranteed minimum hours per month. The opportunity to travel and work in ports outside of Port Chalmers is available from time to time. Hours of work can be irregular and vary due to shipping requirements.
