About the opportunity
This is an exciting new role to lead the Public Health service Covid19 response. This role will sit within the public health leadership team and work with the Service Manager, Clinical Director and Team Leaders, as well as other services to ensure the ongoing capacity and systems are in place to manage future Covid19 responses in line with Ministry of Heath requirements.
Due to the nature of the Public Health Covid19 response a proven ability to work under pressure is essential.
About you
You must have worked within in Public Health Services and be experienced in and have a strong understanding of the Public Health Covid19 response and the ongoing requirements of the service around Covid19.
You will be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, and be able to work effectively with people at all levels of the organisation and have excellent facilitation skills. You will be experienced in project management and programme planning methodology and evaluation. You will be highly motivated, innovative and able to work independently.
A strong understanding of equity and Te Tiriti o Waitangi is essential.
