Job DescriptionWe are looking for talented individuals to join our District Court as Court Registry Officers in Hamilton.Te Haeata/The OpportunityCourt Registry Officer - In this role, you will work with a team responsible for the successful operation of the Court.
You will liaise with multiple stakeholders interacting with the Justice system, including confident communication with Judges in the courtroom and chambers, as well as other judiciary members.The tasks in the CRO role include but are not limited to:Court Taking – facilitating court proceedings, introducing Judges (in English and Te Reo Maori), working closely with them in the Courtroom and Chambers, managing jurors, and general court administration.Case Management – ensuring judiciary and case parties have all necessary information and that logistics support timely case hearings.Customer Service – interacting with customers regarding court-related matters via face-to-face, phone, or email interactions, requiring confidence in all communication methods.Travel – travel within Waikato Courts may be required; a full clean New Zealand driving licence is necessary.He Pukenga Tou/Skills And ExperienceWith pride in your work, you will strive to deliver high-accuracy, professional service to our customers.Our customers are diverse, and our workforce reflects this.
