Courier Driver

A S Padda Enterprises Limited, a trusted courier service provider, is currently seeking reliable and motivated Courier Drivers to join our growing team in the Wellington region. We are committed to providing efficient and timely delivery services and are looking for candidates who are passionate about logistics and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

* Drive company vehicles to deliver goods to designated destinations following scheduled routes.
* Ensure timely and secure delivery of parcels to customers and business locations.
* Cross-check items before departure and upon delivery to confirm order accuracy.
* Support with the manual loading and unloading of goods from the vehicle.
* Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation.
* Organise and optimise daily delivery routes to improve efficiency and timeliness.
* Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
* Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients

The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $25 to $30 per hour.

Other Important Requirements:

* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
* Must be available to work on weekends and start early.
* A valid driver's license is required.
* Must be able to pass drug and alcohol tests.
* A clean driving record is essential.
* Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
* Physically fit and capable of meeting the physical demands of the role, including lifting and moving heavy items.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

* 10 hour shift
* 8 hour shift
* Weekend availability
