About the opportunityAlways wanted to get into Customer Service/Sales? Our team in Dunedin are on the hunt for a reliable and energetic Counter Salesperson to join us to support our customers (mainly electricians) across the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Reporting to the Branch Manager, your role is pivotal in supporting our customers by recommending suitable products, providing relevant quotes based on their needs, and offering top class customer service.Although some experience in counter sales or customer service is an advantage, more than anything – we are looking for someone with the right attitude. You'll be willing to get stuck in with all aspects of counter sales in our branch. Having previous electrical and/or trade knowledge would be a plus point but is not essential; what's important is a "can-do" attitude. We work together as a team and in doing so, we chip in wherever possible just to get the job done.You'll bring excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, natural attention to detail and experience in working with numerical data. Our preferred candidate holds a clean restricted or full driver's license and enjoys constant learning and improvement.
