This newly created senior leadership role; Corporate Services Director, will play an influential role with the leadership team at Te Tumu Paeroa as it transitions and embeds a new operating model following a recent organisational change. Reporting to the Maori Trustee, the Corporate Services Director will lead a team of functional experts across Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Registry, Communications and Marketing, Project Management, Risk, and Compliance.
While providing strategic direction and demonstrating an open and collaborative leadership style, the key focus will be ensuring the Corporate Services Function actively contributes to the delivery of the organisations strategic roadmap through the provision of high-level systems and services.
This role requires someone with significant leadership experience, with a solid understanding of financial, budgeting and administration management and experience overseeing the development and implementation of IT initiatives.
The ideal person has previous experience in enabling transformational change, broad commercial experience and knowledge of public sector corporate and financial management, planning and reporting frameworks. We are seeking a professional with an established profile in Te Ao Maori and a thorough understanding of Nga Pae Mohiotanga Tikanga Maori.
Qualifications in either of the related functional areas reporting to the Director along with a membership to Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand is highly desirable.
