About the Role
Are you looking for an exciting move in-house? This newly created commercial lawyer role sits within the in-house legal team and reports to the Deputy General Counsel. This is a broad role that plays a key part in providing strategic legal support to all areas of the business. The successful candidate will be exposed to high quality legal work. They will work alongside business leaders and the team's senior lawyers in a supportive and flexible environment.
This role will provide proactive legal support on a wide range of matters, including:
Reviewing and negotiating a range of contractual arrangements.
Advising on product and business initiatives.
Reviewing marketing materials.
Developing and managing precedents and the contracts register.
Providing support on company secretarial matters.
About you
We are looking for a lawyer with approximately 2 - 6 years' PQE. But are happy to consider all candidates. We pride ourselves on being a customer-led, data-driven organisation that can adapt quickly to the rapidly changing environment in which we operate and are looking for someone who can operate effectively in such an environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
Be keen to learn about our business and grow as an in-house lawyer.
The ability to work both autonomously and within a team on a wide range of commercial matters.
Be a good communicator.
Be pragmatic and show initiative.
Ability to manage competing priorities and business relationships.
Willingness to embrace development opportunities.
