The Role:
We are in urgent need of a dynamic, highly capable and super organised individual to join our finance team on an immediate start for a period of 15 months as our Corporate Finance Manager goes on maternity leave.
Reporting directly to the Senior Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for the group business unit's monthly management reporting, forecast and budgets whilst overseeing the preparation and presentation of consolidated monthly financial reports as well as understanding the complex transactions and providing process improvement and best practice.
You will also provide leadership skills to a Corporate Accountant that directly reports into the role and be responsible for providing technical accounting support to the Group whilst providing timely reporting to the parent as part of Haier's corporate governance process.
Most importantly will be your ability to understand and have handled Statutory financial statements.
So that's the role - what about you?
We're looking for someone with the following key skills and attributes
Have at least 5 years working experience to management level at one of the top tier CA firms or with a medium to large organisation that is customer centric
Hold a Bachelor of Business/Commerce in Accounting degree with a recognised Chartered Accountant qualification
Consolidated and statutory reporting skills to IFRS standards with a natural curiosity to look and question/or challenge what is being reported
Have well-developed influencing skills to develop effective business relationships with a variety of global stakeholders
Solid understanding of accounting systems including ERP coupled with proven management of competing deadlines
