This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of a forward-thinking company while enjoying the lifestyle benefits of the stunning Bay of Plenty region.About the RoleAs Corporate Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, managing budgets and forecasts, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.
You will work closely with the senior leadership team and ensure all financial compliance and reporting standards are met.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsManage budgeting and forecasting processesOversee internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/NZ GAAP)Support audit processes and liaise with external auditorsProvide financial analysis and insights to support strategic planningAssist with tax compliance including GST, FBT, and income taxSupport system improvements and process automation initiativesRequirementsTertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplineCA/CPA qualification (or working towards) desired although qualified by experience will be consideredMinimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting roleStrong understanding of New Zealand tax and financial reporting regulationsExcellent analytical, organisational, and communication skillsProficiency in accounting softwareHow to ApplyIf you're a motivated accounting professional looking for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you!
