This is a unique opportunity to join Infratil as the Corporate Accountant in a permanent capacity. As the Corporate Accountant you will be involved in the consolidated management accounting, financial reporting and Treasury processes. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, you will be a self-led individual that provides high quality outputs that positively impacts the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing monthly consolidation of the Infratil Group, including review of the month end journals, reconciliations and trial balances for Infratil’s Corporate companies
Assisting in the preparation of management financial accounts for Infratil’s Corporate companies
Ongoing review of financial and management accounting procedures including ensuring that effective internal controls are in place and maintained
Working with the tax team prepare the required tax journals and relevant tax disclosures
Work with the Finance Manager to monitor the liquidity aspects of Infratil’s short and long-range planning, including making recommendations around utilisation of debt facilities and cash management.
Liaise across Infratil’s banking group to action items such as loan repayments/drawdowns, FX settlements and fee payments;
Ensure Infratil’s treasury transactions are appropriately captured in the treasury management system and support the preparation of treasury reporting

Key Requirements:
Chartered Accountant with “Big 4” or equivalent corporate experience
Excellent academic record (transcript required)
A firm grasp of accounting and consolidation principles, the application of IFRS, and the ability to grasp Infratil’s Group accounting policies
An understanding and awareness of the market environment as it pertains to Infratil’s Treasury functions
Ability to display excellent interpersonal skills with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders
