Mother's Nest is a fast-growing Home-Based Early Childhood Education service. We are looking for another coordinator teacher to join our team full time. We are looking for candidates who can speak a second language (MANDARIN or SAMOAN or MAORI).
They will be responsible for :
- Visiting educators
- Visiting children and families
- Home safety checks
- Writing Learning stories
- Portfolio's
- Program plans
- Organise excursions
- Organise playgroups & events
- Handle inquiries
- Follow up with enrolments.

The role combines the opportunity to mentor the educators, visit children in their home and includes a strong marketing aspect. We expect that you are actively promoting our services within the community and local child groups so a confident person with an eye for growth is a huge advantage.
Applicants must:
- Can be provisional or fully registered
- Having work experience in the Home-Based Early Childhood sector will be an advantage.
- A recognised Early Childhood teaching qualification
- A current full Practising Certificate
- A sound understanding of current early learning pedagogical practice
- A genuine desire to see children thrive in the home-based environment
- Self-motivation and a positive focused approach
- have excellent communication skills & the ability to mentor educators/ nannies whilst they are working in their roles.
- You will need to be able to ‘think on your feet’ & have excellent knowledge of Te Whariki & child development.
A current first aid certificate and a clean full NZ driver’s licence
